Different drives Different speeds

hello ,
i will be highly appreciated if you answered me :)
i have Windows 8.1 Pro installed on SSD (kingston V300) . if i added another significantly faster SSD and installed games and programs on it ,keeping windows on the slower (V300) . will my games programs and videos run faster ?
does Windows location matter ?

Nope!... Windows location does matter. Better move Windows to the faster SSD with a cloned image or better yet clean installing it on the new/faster SSD

thank you very much for your help this is my first post and it was answered quickly yay :D .
i will try to make a clean windows installation on the new/faster SSD and install my games on it .
i will let you know what will happen .
