Hey everybody.

This is my first pc build and I wanted it to be able to:
-run games at max settings.
-perform well with CAD and 3d rendering.
-to do a little overclocking.

Is this build any good for those reasons?
Also I am unsure about the motherboard I chose. Are there any better ones to replace it with? Or should I just stick with the Asus MAXIMUS VII HERO ATX LGA1150 Motherboard?
Other than the motherboard are there any components which I might have gone overboard with or should change?

Thank you in advance.

Here's my build:

Solution
the hyper evo cooler will enable you to do some overclocking... though for such a beastly build, I would recommend getting something more powerful...

very powerful build

Thanks for the replies.
I'm actually trying to see where I can cut unnecessary costs. Would I still be able to do all of the things i've stated above if i downgraded to a GTX 770 2GB gpu?

lets just say about gaming at max settings... when you go into gtx 770 and above, the reviewers dont even bother to benchmark it at 1080p, because those cards can push games to 1440p and 4k.... so if you are just playing on 1080, I would say go with 770 or at least 780 so that you will do well with new titles... ofcaurse there are some games that hit hard, a few exceptions like crysis 3 etc... but those are just exceptions...
