Hey Guys,

I would like to ask if it's worth it to change my R9 290X reference card to a ZOTAC GTX780 non-reference card? I can only afford 780, not 780 Ti.

Just need your advise since I'm not quite sure for myself if it's really worth changing it.

Thanks. :)

Pl don't change R9 290x beast to 780 unless you are gonna get 780Ti which would be a good deal. Remember, at 4k R9 290x beats 780Ti though below 4k 780Ti has advantage over R9 290X.

You already have a very best card at your disposal. Stick with it.

I myself am a proud user of nVIDIA cards, but honestly speaking R9 290X is much better than GTX 780. Stick with it.

As a NVidia fanboy I still can't find a good reason to do this. What don't you like about your 290x that you think a 780 will be able to give you? If your mobo supports crossfire you would be better off getting a 2nd 290x as they crossfire very well.

bu change that reference cooler, I don't know how you put up with it but the 290x is a generally better than a 780 so don't change it, but seriously change that plastic reference cooler
