Specs for my gaming PC:
i7 -4770s processor
B85M- D3V mobo
AMD Sapphire R9 280X Graphics Card
Gigabyte GZ-F3HEB ATX Tower
Corsair HX650 PSU

My mobo only supports two RAM slots, so I want to get 2x8gb thats a total of 16gb. What are some good choices and brands of RAM to buy for my build.

From what I've learned you don't need to go crazy looking for RAM unless you are really looking for maximum performance (like 1-2 second gains in some applications). I bought some Kingston Fury Ram for my build. It doesn't have the greatest timings but is priced nicely and looks great.
