Any Mobo which has a PCI-e x16 Slot can run the graphics card.
The big question is this that is your PSU is powerful enough to hold the load of GPU (7770).
you must buy a PSU which should have 6-pin or 6+2 Pin PCI Express Power Connector.

It doesnt realy matter , you could put any good mid-end card in that rig that Core 2 duo will still pull it down. Best mid end gaming card now is probably the GTX 750ti , but to make atleast somthing of this you should atleast get an lga 1150 with and i3 or i5 and 4-8gigs of ddr3 ram.

Even the crummy HD7770 (wich I have in one of my pcs) will bottleneck with it. Also that card will be completely useless for gaming by this time next year.

TL;DR Sure you can upgrade this but its like putting a bandaid on a broken spine. You would be better off saving a little more and getting somthing much better that will last a lot longer.
