Hi, my computer boots back up immediately after shutdown. But this happens randomly - sometimes it does it and sometimes it doesn't, but most of the time it does. However, it shuts down completely after it boots back up from shutdown. There's no problem while using the computer or playing games; everything is running smoothly. I placed this under Motherboards because I believe it might the motherboard since it was the major part of the upgrade with the Intel CPU. It happened right after I upgraded my computer's motherboard and CPU - from AMD to Intel. I also had to do a system recovery in order to boot my computer into windows. Thank you. The specs of my current and previous parts are:

Currently:
Intel Core i5 - 3570k
Gigabyte LGA 1150 B85 MicroAtx, GA-B85M-D3H
MSI HD 6870
6 GB DDR3 1333Mhz RAM
1TB HDD 7200RPM
Corsair 600W PSU

Past Changes:
HP stock Hisbuscus MicroAtx AMD APU Socket FM1
AMD A8 - 3800 APU

Do you mean change the MB/CPU from AMD to intel and using the same hard drive w/o reinstall the OS? If you say yes, you are better to reinstall the windows. It is the drivers compatible problem.
