wow...i am more confused than ever as I picked a time of the year for new products to come out

I am getting a EVGA classified GTX 780, I will eventually get a second one to SLI, but for now..just 1.

I want to get 3 24" monitors together and my options are basically in the title. I do play a lot of first-person games, and my rig will be geared towards flagship features...Would I really be wasting my efforts getting the IPS Asus model with 5ms, or should I take the VG248QE seriously, even though I hear the colors for everything non-gaming..is horrendous.

OR should I wait for the BenQ models of G-sync, or the module to add g-sync to the Asus TN model...im just so confused on what would be the best bet for 3 monitors...

Gsync is more or less useless on a powerfull GPU.
5ms IPS panel is nice and anything below 10 should be fine

I've been looking around for a decent monitor as well. The best one I found is the upcoming ASUS ROG, http://rog.asus.com/324842014/gaming-monitors/swift-pg2.... Its said to come out sometime in July, spec wise it seems amazing. I'm not sure exactly how well it holds up since its not out yet. I myself am debating between the IPS 5ms you mentioned and the ASUS ROG.
