well today i manually stopped both of my gpu fans by pressin on on them for 1-2 seconds them letting them go since i was hunting for noise in my pc then i removed the card from my mobo and i accidentally touched my gpu fans while i grabbed the card out. will i damage my gpu or caused damage already to my gpu or the fans? and will it affect my gaming performance? btw i removed the card while the pc was off of course.

I do that a lot of the time on some computers. All of my computers are all using custom water cooling loops atm, but back when my video cards still had fans I would indeed manually stop them with my finger. I wouldn't consider it as a bad thing, the worst that could happen is the fan could decide to eat your finger. Just a good practice would be to manually turn down the fans a much as possible with the overclocking utility that came with the card, and then stopping it.

There won't be any issues with what you did. I have a video card in the first system that I ever built about 10 years ago that I just stuck a pencil in the fan when it was at max speed and it still works fine to this day, because I use it for figuring out customer video card problems.

oh wow and it still works good to this day like nothing happen? well its just a fan then right wont affect gpu? plus the fan itself is perfectly fine as well right along with the other fan since i have a r9 280x powecolor turboduo, it hs two fans

Yeah you are fine, sometimesyou might hear like a click click click sound or a almost like steam coming out of a tea pot noise. But they are all normal, 90% of the time it`s just the psu fan kicking on, and most power supply fans have bad fan curves so they go from 0 to 60% way to fast under load

The phenom isn't all that bad. But if you want to upgrade the i5 isn't all that bad or the fx 8350. I have an 8350 in my work build. But for the games that you play an i5 would probably suite you the best. If you want a good motherboard that isn't aimed towards gaming but still has tons of features something like http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-z97a would be good. For a more gaming/overclocking board http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-maximusviihero I also have used the z97-a and I was able to overclock an i7 to about 4.8 without any problems. You should get a good performance increase by switching to the i5 for those games.
