Mouse disconnecting and sometimes all peripherials

I have a very strange problem. My mouse (g500) has begun to randomly disconnect on me. The problems began while playing league of legends about a week ago. It would cut out for a short period and then come back. However within 1 or 2 more games, my keyboard froze completely with the mouse. Only a restart would fix it. This happened on and off and just in game. About 3 days ago I noticed it happening out of the game, at least with the mouse. The keyboard only went once. It doesn't make a difference if I plug them into the back or front.

I found another generic usb dell mouse and plugged it in with the g500. The g500 cut out but the old dell mouse worked fine. Before doing this I noticed my headset (also usb) went with the mouse as it has Leds that would go out and come back. This is indeed very strange. Sometimes it's just the mouse. Sometimes it's everything. I tried uninstalling the USB in device manager but to no avail. I've tried unchecking the power management option that lets the pc turn off the device. I'm not really sure what could even be causing such a strange problem. Any ideas about where to begin would be great.

Some additional things : sometimes when the mouse issues happened in game it would temporarily freeze the ingame stuff but never outside of the game. I'm not sure if it's because of a game interaction or something else in the pc. The pc runs very cool 40 degrees. Also, the problem has worsened. I did notice some difference when repositioning the mouse but it was no real fix. It just cut out at a certain distance. Again any idea about where to even begin would be great.

Sometimes that can be a static issue that maybe happened a while ago that you didn't notice while building your computer if you did build your computer that is. components that are damaged by static may not show up right away, sometimes it may happen 6-12 months down the road randomly. Just disable and then enable the usb drivers. If that doesn't work just grab every update that you can find for your motherboard and install them. If that doesn't work call the manufacture and have a talk with them.

Thank you for your answers. I removed the mouse and instead I am using a generic USB. 3 days and no problems. I never imagined a mouse could cause everything to go down. I'm not sure if it's an IRQ problem. I can try the mouse elsewhere, and I will, but I think the mouse is malfunctioning since nothing changed in that department that would lead up to the problem, and it gradually became worse.

The mouse does have a firmware update from a few years back, the 1.1 update. The mouse is out of production, which is a shame, since it's my second one and I loved the fit. I've decided to go with the Razer Adder as a replacement. The software update for the mouse was strange. It caused even more problems with the mouse. I think the mouse was failing but it has onboard memory which was causing some of the issues. I had to take it apart about 8 months ago to fix another issue that it has. The mouse, unfortunately, is poorly built, but the exterior is amazing and such a perfect fit. It's a bit of a shame. Thank you for all your help. I thought it was a static issue since I've had that problem in the past but no amount of rearranging could fix it. Since the problem was becoming worse by the day I began to think it wasn't a problem with the pc so much as the mouse itself. None of the wire rearranging did much of anything to help.
