So i bought a new gpu and then i found myself on an upgrading spree. You know how it is like. I couln't decide on psu and ram though. This pc will be used for heavily moded gaming purposes only.

My already owned components are,
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z97M-D3H
Cpu: i5 4670k
Gpu: Asus GTX670 DirectCU II 4Gb
Ssd: Sandisk Extreme 120Gb sata 3 (SDSSDX-120G-G)
Shdd: Seagate St2000dx001
Case: Aerocool DS Cube

PSU: As for the psu goes please consider that i will do an sli with my current gpu sometime in the future when i need it and also oc my cpu to 4.5-4.6 Ghz. So suggesting accordingly is appreciated. I was thinking of corsair cx750 but i learned that it is quite noisy. Seasonic x series appears to be very quite but kinda expensive. I need a silent psu and with just enough watt for my oc'ed and to be sli system in order not to pay extra money.

RAM: For the ram i can't decide if i should go with 4GbX2 or 8GbX2. As far as i know games don't require more than 8Gb or do they? In that regard i was thinking of Corsair 8GB (2x4GB) Vengeance LowProfile DDR3 1600 Mhz CL11 Dual Kit (CML8GX3M2B1600C11) but i saw on a web page corsair rams don't go well with gigabyte mobos. So yeah...

CPU Cooler: Not that it is a priority but my old cpu cooler isn't such a good one being Akasa X4 AK-968. I don't want to spend money on h100 or something. What do you guys think considering i5 4670k oc'ed to 4.5Ghz or so, what would you guys do? Try out old cooler or if not, any cheap ones that will do the work?

Thank you for taking your time.

A quality PSU from Seasonic, PC power & Cooling, Corsair, or Antec of at least 850W (and preferably 900W +) if you want to SLI. I always over provision for PSUs because they can be reused in future builds and while you can have too little you can never have enough power.

I like GSkill RAM bur Corsair is fine RAM. I don't know anything about problems with Gigabyte mobos though.

There are all sorts of good air and CLC coolers, but you should try your current one to see if it can do the job. No sense in spending $100 for a couple of degrees C. But if it is not cool enough there are cheaper solutions from various vendors.

+1 for Chesteracorgi's PSU suggestions. PC Power & Cooling is one of my favorites. Also, XFX and Rosewill (* NOT Raidmax) make some very good midrange PSUs.

I've had very good success with G.Skill RAM. It OCs well and has good community support.

A 4670 at 4.5GHz is going to get fairly hot. Most that I see operating at this speed have high end air or liquid cooling. Some coolers I would recommend for your OC:

Noctua NH-D14 or the new NH-D15
Phanteks TC14PE (BIG...may not fit all cases.)
Corsair H80i (120mm), H90 (140mm)
NZXT x40 (140mm)
Zalman LQ315 or LQ320 (120mm)

If your current CPU cooler performs on the level of the above coolers, you should be OK as-is.
