3x Monitors Two Dvi and dvi to hdmi in to Dp to dvi adapter

The title is a bit confusing but i want to keep it short, I have two monitors in dvi so i allready know that i have to use a aktiv displayport to hdmi to my third screen. But in my area we just had a aktiv dp to dvi adapter and my question is can i use a adapter i allredy have (Dvi to hdmi) into the dp to dvi adapter?

Like a aktiv Adapter into adapter does it work for a third screen?

Ok, then yes you can use any adapter solutions as long as your displayport adapter is active DP to DVI , then use your DVI to HDMI adapter !

You can't put HDMI into a displayport connector.
Also you shouldn't use an adpater into another adapter, just get the right cable you need, so you keep a good signal.
In theory though, it should work as long as the signal remains digital, but yeah just get the cable if you can.
Is the problem that you have a monitor with an HDMI input and a GPU with a DP output ?

Exactly, But i couldnt find a Aktiv Dp to hdmi adapter in any store near me!!
