hey guys i am thinking of making first computer build and i am thinking of getting the gtx 750 ti or the gtx 760 or should i wait for maxwell. The 750 ti from what i heard is very good at performing at modern titles and is very efficient but the 760 is more powerful and costs more so should i just spend the extra and get the 760 or should i wait for the higher end maxwells to come out. Down below are the specs and what games and applications i want to play or use. For games unless said so I want to play at high or ultra. Here are the specs of my build. I would like an answer soon! Thanks!

If I were you I'd get a 750 ti temporarily and hold off for maxwell, it's a surprisngly good card. Not only that but we have the dye shrink in cpu's coming up also. Although from a video game standpoint because even the first gen i7's are pretty damn good in games, I wouldn't be too concerned about that one. As for the 750 ti it can do battlefield 4 in ultra, although occasional it dips. It's very playable. 40 fps or so average with an amd fx 6300. It will play it in high absolutely no problem. I'd expect to replace it in 1.5 years when the maxwell cards have been out for a bit and any defects have been sorted.

I agree get the 750ti and see how Maxwell does. The gtx 750ti can do ultra perfectly fine on BF4, it's very good for the price and considering it doesn't even need a power plug from the PSU either. It can do anything you want, and if you need more fps you can tweak some settings like turn off MSAA, I do that myself and really can't see a difference. It doesn't take that much to play stuff on high/ultra at 1080p contrary to what the bleeding edge elitists portray online, I want to get a gtx 750ti for my spare pc too.
