ok here is what happend
seagate usb 3tb external 3.0 usb
dell 8600 with 12 gb of ram
and a few usb external drives
ps it was very warm in the room about 90 degrees
computer was running very slow i rebooted after removing 500 malwarebytes pups
on reboot i opened lightrom to start working and the computer said.. to use drive letter I, i need to first format the drive, i declined.. I knew this was bad news as drive letter I i use everyday its the 3tb seagate usb 3.0 i use for lightroom adobe/ most of the photos i have on cloud service but not all
i can no longer see the drive, once this morning i was able to see it but no info was available
i have c drive , j drive , m drive all working as normal, just the huge 3tb drive I is not showing
it did light up briefly it sounds like its working but i dont know if i can fix this or bring to a computer repair center
the error i am getting is usb device not recognized
i dont remember how to run dos software or what i should use, i am hoping this can be fixed
How should i proceed?
