I am currently trying to install my new Gigabyte GTX660 windforce as an upgrade to my ASUS Raedon HD7750 and when I seat the card I'm getting stuck on the BIOS screen and unable to navigate anywhere else. I get a single beep every 7 seconds or so.

My Spec:
Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3V
Intel i5-3470 @ 3.2Ghz
Corsair 700W CX Gaming Series PSU
8GB RAM

I have completely uninstalled the AMD drivers before trying to install the new card using a guide to ensure they're all gone.

If anybody could help figure out why I am getting stuck on the BIOS loading screen then this would be much appreciated.

Thanks

It was the MOBO BIOS, tried using the website and the install was confusing so for anybody looking at this in the future the board will come with a utility disk with an @BIOS program that will auto update your BIOS as it comes out, I highly recommend doing this.
Are the two 6 pin power connectors securely in the graphics card?

As a diagnostic measure, try booting with the monitor attached to the integrated adapter.

A graphics card will have a low res mode that does not need any driver.

It is possible that your new card is defective. If you find no solution, RMA it.

Cheer for the help. I did a bit more research and it turned out my BIOS just needed updating and everything is working now.

Again thank you for the advice

I prefer the usb based bios updates myself.
If a bios is interrupted in the middle, it can brick your motherboard with no recourse.
