This started just today and its driving me nuts. Every time I turn my laptop on, it does go to the Windows starting screen, then just crashes and turns back on, going to the Dell loading screen and freezing with a white line across the top. I've tried all the Safe Mode options and even Repair Your Computer. But they do the same thing, when I do Safe Mode a bunch of words or whatever come up and it stops at this CLASS.PNP or CLASS.PSP thing then just crashes again! Then I tried Repair Your Computer and the blue butterfly screen or whatever comes up and all I see is the cursor. Anyone have some options as to how I should fix it, besides taking it in?

It sounds like your operating system is corrupted.
The only thing I can think of doing is trying to run bootrec.exe /fixmbr and /fixboot from the Windows disk. If that doesn't work it sounds like you have to re-install Windows.
