Hello everyone. I was on my computer last night and it was running perfectly, no updates were made or software changes. I shutdown, charged it, and went to bed. when I got up this morning, I powered on and found my computer claimed there was a software change. I had two options, start windows normally or startup repair. I chose windows normally seeing as how there was not problem or software change made. That didn't work. It got stuck on the starting windows screen. I then tried to use startup repair. That loaded files, but didn't work either. Now I tried letting it sit instead of lowering down. When I do this, the starting windows screen goes to a blue screen and then goes back to the prompt screen. Can anyone help?

When you power your laptop on.
Keep tapping the F8 key on the key board, you should get an extended options on how to load windows.

Select safe mode.
Let windows load.

when finished loading go to backup and restore, you can find it by doing a search with the key word as Backup.

Click on it.

It will tell you when the last backup of the system was made due to a new software install ect. check the date or time stamp , select and click restore.
Will restore system if any changes were made causing a problem.
After restore boot into windows in normal mode.
