Steam summer sale problem

I am building my first gaming pc this weekend. I am wondering if i should get the XFX Dual Dissapation R9 280x or a GTX 760 and a $20 steam card so that I can buy some games during the summer sale.

That is pretty much up to you. The r9 280x is a more powerful GPU than the gtx 760 but both are great cards so if you want to afford games now then go that route otherwise grab the 280x.

The 280x is a faster card, and games are cheap. Get the better hardware as there are always more sales just around the corner.

Even if you miss the summer sale, there might be a winter sale, or there's possibly next year where there are even more games available.

get the better card, you can buy games later when you have the money, but you can't improve a gpu with just $20,
