Hello I am seeking some help.

I just finished building and installing my new mini-itx pc with the Asus H97I-Plus motherboard. I managed to fully install and update window 7 ultimate 64 bit and my mouse and keyboard where working just fine. After the last update my pc reboots as planned and now my keyboard nor my mouse work. They are both plugged in a usb 2.0 port. In the bios they work perfect, but I just enter windows and they fail. I try to re install windows 7 but when I get to the language to install, time and currency format screen my keyboard and mouse stop working again. I already tried with another USB mouse and still nothing.

Please help!
Thank you in advanced!
Erik

USB devices working at the BIOS level but not once the installer starts is a sure sign that they are actually plugged into USB 3.0 ports. The only 2.0/1.1 ports I see on that board are the 4 black ports between the Displayport/HDMI sockets and the Ethernet/blue USB ports. Are your devices plugged into those?

Hello,
Thanks for your quick reply!
They are connected in USB 2.0 ports. I triple checked. Right now I tried plugging in an old keyboard with the circular connector and windows has recognized it and is letting me use it. I am thinking on downloading the usb drivers again and reinstalling them.

Thank you for your help!
Erik
