I'm new to this and trying desperately to fix my laptop. When Windows finished re installing, my internet wasn't working.

I used the trouble shooter and it came up that it can't detect my network adapter.
It shows a yellow triangle with and exclamation point next to

Ethernet Controller
Network Controller
PCI Simple Communications Controller

I tried downloading the following:

INF_allOS-9.1.2.1008_PV
(Downloaded fine, I assume becasue there were no error messages.)

PROWinx64 and ProWin7_64_v17.1(Won't finish installing because it states there are no Interl)R) adapters present. )

I'm at a loss for what to do.

GateWay Computer

Windows 7 Home Premium

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU
M370 @ 2.40 GHz

System type 64-bit OS

Any help is greatly appreciated

Solution
On another PC, go to the manufacturers website. Gateway, I'm assuming.
Find and download the relevant LAN driver for your hardware.
Save it to a USB stick
Take that to the newly reinstalled PC and install it.
