Reasons for and against, I am going to get either but I still have to decide between them. btw For me they are both exactly the same price unless I have to spend £40 on Noctua fans to put on the H100i as I have heard that those fans are loud.
I have a NZXT Phantom Fulltier case and a i5 4670k which I will be overclocking.

Yes the Noctua is very silent and good for overclocking. The H100i is probably a bit better than the Noctua because it's water cooling but it's loud.

Both will give you great temps but you should go with the noctua as it can handle A LOT of heat and will cost less

The noctua offers liquid cooling temps without the hassle of a AIO cooler with the most obvious downside being the weight and size. I had the previous version but ended up removing in favor a custom water loop because one of the fan clips was pressing against the PCB of one of my GPUs. Although, in another article, the D15 revision has those fan clips protruding less, you might want to double and triple check your configuration (case clearance and location of the first PCIe slot on the MB).

What about in the future when CPU's are all in a different size and everything is chrome...
What I mean is if a new series of processors comes out would either of them be more likely to release a different size bracket that you could buy to fit the cooler on to your swanky new i9 chip?
