Hi guys, so just now friend of mine has finished putting together hardware of my first custom build PC,all i need now is to check if everything is working properly. What are the most popular and trustworthy software to check all PC components? I use CPU,GPU Z and HWmonitor to check how are they connected ,what speed are they running and what temperatures. All i need to know is if hardware is connected where it belongs to and how are they running, please suggest what software can i use beside these to check all my system , i don't want to benchmark separate components , but to check if they are working properly

I'm using windows 7 and here's the build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2pzrr

**CPU** | [Intel Core i5-3570 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor]
**Motherboard** | [ASRock Z75 Pro3 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard]
**Memory** | [Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory]
**Storage** | [Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive]
**Video Card** | [Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB Video Card]
**Power Supply** | [XFX 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply]
**Optical Drive** | [Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer]

thanks in advance

the 550 is OK... for gaming the system will be pulling its strongest load and because of that the PSU will be pushed. Personally, I'd rather not generate anymore heat than needed inside the case...

What will the load be on that PSU when you are balls deep in a battle? 50% of capacity... 60%, 80%, or close to 100%?

So what are u saying is that system may overheat especially PSU? Can it lead to performance downgrade? i have no idea how PSU load works and what are normal load % when system is pushed during gaming, could u suggest any possible solutions for that?I have to say this PSU has like 100 cables attached to it, more than half are unused in case, they could not be removed and it looks like serpent nest in there,i may upload screenshot of that, but i fear nothing can be done about it right now(case is Thermaltake Commander MS-II)
