Hi, My cpu is always running above 90% and sometimes almost 100% when playing Battlefield 4. It bottlenecks my two gtx 770 (gigabyte overclocked) configiration. Instead of getting 170-190 fps i get 120-140. I want to overclock my cpu to about 4.2 ghz, but I have never overclocked before and not sure how to.
My motherboard: GA Z87 UD3H which is cabable of overclocking through bios.
My cooler: Be Quiet! Dark Rock 3 (not pro)

Do you think i can overclock up to 4.2 ghz and still have safe temperatures? If so, then what should i put in the bios setting? Is it enough to just put clock ratio to 42 or do I also need to adjust voltage and other things? If so, then what should i put and where??

I might be asking a lot but im a total noob at this so please help me cause i would really appreciate it! By the way sorry for my bad english

What CPU do you have? 4.2GHz is a pretty mild overclock regardless. So you should be able to to just set your multiplier to 42x and leave everything else Auto.
