Hi, I am planning to move from my gaming laptop to desktop (I have this for now: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/rJCvqs ).
Could you give me some advice on whether it is adequate for a 1000 pound budget?

By the way, the budget is meant to include the monitor; but no other peripherals.

Thanks

Thanks, that's quite reassuring. My only doubt at this point is whether I am spending the correct amount of money on the motherboard. I've been thinking of maybe buying something cheaper (such as: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-z87g41p... ), and using the leftover money to buy a better monitor (possibly an IPS one, such as: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/dell-monitor-m2gcr ).
But I have no idea what the potential consequences of cheaping out on a motherboard (which still has all the connections I need) may be.
