Hi this is my first post so bear with me. I overclocked my cpu(i7 2600k) and everything is fine except i get random blue screens once in a while. I am listing everything there is to know. thank you.
motherboard:msi p67a-g45
ram:gskill 8 gb 1600mhz
cpu:intel 2600k 3.4 ghz
video card: zotac geforce 580 gtx
windows 7 64bit
power supply: cooler master silent pro 850w
cooler master hyper 212 cpu fan
case: cooler master haf 932

cpu ratio=45 (i overclocked the cpu from 3.4 to 4.5)
internal pll overvoltage=auto
EIST=enabled
Intel Turbo Boost=disabled
Dram frequency=auto
X.M.P=enabled
Spread Spectrum=disabled
Vdroop Control=high
Cpu core Voltage= 1.335 v (i am suspecting that this may be the main thing)
dram voltage=auto

hyper threading=disabled
limit cpuid maximum=disabled
execute disable bit=enabled
intel virtualization tech=enabled
C1E support=enabled
overspeed protection=enabled
intel c-state=enabled
package c-state limit=no limit

Then you really don't need the dump file. Your computer is crashing because the overclock is not stable. You are going to want to lower the frequencies or increase the voltage until it is stable. (I wouldn't personally go higher on the voltages)

what would you recommend lowering the frequency to from 4.5? honestly i did these settings looking at similar builds. would it be wise to set the voltage to auto rather than manually setting it?

No.

Never use AUTO while overclocking. It AUTO sets to the VCORE the CPU is asking for at stock settings.

I would lower it 100 Mhz at a time until the BSOD stock crashing. Run Prime95 for 24 hours and see if it crashes or not. A friend and I have the exact same build. He can overclock to 4.6 and I can only reach 4.4. Chips are all binned differently.
