So today I added a second 3tb seagate barracuda HDD to my computer, and I am having some issues;

-In the first place, I already had a kingston SSD (128gb) and another 3tb seagate barracuda. I have had issues with the over 2tb thing, but it was resolved. So it was working fine before.

*Note; for simplicity, lets call the new barracuda "tim", and the old that is already installed "earnest". Also windows is on the SSD, and earnest is just for big files. And hiding stuff. If ya know what I mean...

ANYHOW...

-When I had just my SSD and new tim plugged in, I was able to go into disk manager, and format then partition it to make it a drive.
-I thought I was having an issue with a SATA cable first, then I test each one out in all of the different drives and concluded that it was not an issue.
-As for the ports, I found that when I swapped them around, they would change which drive. Sometimes no drive would show up.
-Also after playing around for a while, when booting with earnest, he... it changed from being drive D: to drive H: (because I have ISO mounted from E: to G: ). Therefore all of my shortcuts on the desktop don't know where to point.

So what I'm thinking is it probably has something to do with priorities where the SATA plugs in to the motherboard... but I'm not entirely sure. Any answer will help, thanks!
