Hello guys i got an old rig :) Mobo is from ASRock g41m-vs3
I got 4gb of ram 1333Mhz Patriot Logo
A Dual Core 3.0 Ghz Pentium/Core 2 duo im not really sure
Im thinking to buy a Gtx 750 Ti :) i got a 400W power supply :)
I wanted to know how many fps this SET UP will get me maxing out League OF legends on 720p ?

Solution

It is much better. The worst case scenario is your GPU won't be fully...
The Core 2 are much better than the Pentium. That can be the game changer right there. If it is the Core 2 it should be enough. If it is the Pentium you'll probably want to upgrade. Either way though the processor will be the bottleneck for the graphics card and your processor is going to have to have a 6-pin power for the graphics card.

So if its Pentium im fuked ? I saw somewhere that my pc is E8/7XXX something Does this matter ? And if i got pentium dual core how many fps i ill have
And i saw somewhere that L2 cache is only 2mb or something

Im really happy of lmy CPU like its really fast on task manager and stuff i can open many stuff at same time and nothing blocks are naything its so fast i can open 10 tabs on chrome and play league with razer game booster Mk lol and other programs on with not a single problem :) I got integrated graphics yea crap... But is it worth buying the 750 ti for such CPU ? Like if my CPU is crap i better stay with integrated cos i dont afford buying a new pc :( I go at my friends house and he has a Phenom 545 x2 2.8 Ghz processor with 4 gb ram and a 550 ti he play league at very high on 60 fps maybe drops from 55-60 :) Is like 750 ti x1.5 better than 550 ti right ?

It is much better. The worst case scenario is your GPU won't be fully utilized because of your processor. You should notice a nice increase in performance. At that point you could get more performance by upgrading the processor. You could make it a project and start with the GPU and work your way up.

My processor is faster like all of core 2 duo proccesors i tried on cpuboss.com
MY intel Pentium Dual Core e5700 is stronger than some core 2 duo with same clock :) So my CPU is just fine ?? It wont bottleneck my graphic card ? Or its all abt the L2 Cache ? the only difference is the l2 cache my procccesora has only 2 mb and some core 2 duo has 4 or 6 Mb but less single core performance or overclock and stuff

It may be faster for single threaded performance. But Windows is optimized for at least a Quad core now. It will still bottleneck your graphics card though. It gets real confusing when you talk about hardware. You do have one of the better Core 2 for the dual cores though. Kind of? There is the T line.. so many processors... -_-;

The term comes from a bottle!

Imagine you pouring soda out into a cup. If the neck of the bottle was larger more soda would come out as your pour the soda. If the neck is smaller you can only pour so much soda out at one time no matter what angle you hold the bottle at.

In your case.. the processor would be the bottleneck and the angle you try to pour the soda would be the graphics card. At one point it doesn't matter how good the graphics card is. The bottleneck will prevent you from pouring anymore soda.

What this means is that your graphics card will be waiting on your processor for data.

TADA!!!!:)
