SeaSonic M12II Bronze 620W 80 PLUS PSU
cooler master n500 mid tower desktop case

personally, when it comes to Nvidia cards, I always recommend EVGA

why? they don't necessarily have the best cooler design, in fact, ASUS, Gigabyte, or MSI will often beat them by a degree or two on benchmarks, but they do have the best customer service and warranty policy imo. I'd rather have my card run 1% hotter or slower, but know that I can get it replaced should it break down.

I'd take the Giga over EVGA .... and Asus and MSI over both. This is for the 780 but teh designs are pretty much the same for both cards....however the Asus 770 is grossly underclocked

I'm gonna disagree with vmem on the customer service. Took me 20 calls, 18 months and 5 RMAs to get satisfaction with my son's high end FTW series EVGA card. The 2nd thru 20th calls resulted in them making me go thru the exact same procedures as we did in the 1st call..... that goit real turing doing it for the 17th, 18th, 19th ..... calls.

They blamed the PSU (10.0 jonnyguru rated), the blamed the memory (Mushkin w/ Hynix modules), they blamed the MoBo (Asus Rampage). Gotta compliment them for finally doing something after 18 months but the inadequate skill level of TS people was the most frustrating aspect of it..... when I would ask "Can't you see on the screen in front of you the history here ? ..... well if that didn't work the previous 16 times what makes you think it's going to work on the 17th ?"

It was only when I put two Asus cards in SLI in the system and ran them at a 28% overclock that I was able to get them to provide something that worked.
