Here is Guru3D's power supply recommendation:
GeForce GTX 780 - On your average system the card requires you to have a 550 Watt power supply unit.
GeForce GTX 780 2-way SLI - On your average system the cards require you to have a 800 Watt power supply unit as minimum.
GeForce GTX 780 3-way SLI - On your average system the cards require you to have a 1200 Watt power supply unit as minimum.
If you are going to overclock your GPU or processor, then we do recommend you purchase something with some more stamina.

Thermal and Power Specs:
95 C = Maximum GPU Temperature (in C)
250 W = Graphics Card Power (W)
600 W = Minimum Recommended System Power (W)

600 watts for system and 1st card + 250 for 2nd card = 850
EVGA has popular step up policies and the Classified is one of the 2 "performance kings " (other being the Lightning) and I am sure that brings a lot of attention to the brand but I see no attraction to the SC series.
Nothing wrong with paying for what ya like aesthetically .... just wanted to point out the better performance and features available for 2/3 the proce.
Had a look on newegg for the msi motherboard and there were 3 reviews, one negative complaining that it didn't work with 7 GPU's.. I'm not going to have that problem.
The R7 AMD cards are considered 7 series but the 7xx series from nVidia are alkso referred to as 7 series cards .... I wonder which one he meant. Can't base much on 3 reviews.... really have to look at the whole series "Gaming X" .... all same basic board with varying features and all have common issues..... believe me, I love MSI in this price segment but the large % of users reporting similar audio and WiFi problems across the line has me concerned. Yes, it could be newbie errors, but I think it may also be "birthing pains" for a new line similar to what we say with Asus and Z87.
Gaming 9 - 100% 3 eggs or less
Gaming 7 - 20% 3eggs or less
Gaming 5 - 33% 3 eggs or less
GD65 = 100% 5 eggs
The GD65 and Gaming 7 boards are very similar, main differences are:
GD65 has 2 more (8) SATA ports
D65 has 2 more USB ports
GD65 has 1 x M.2 / % has 1 x mSATA
Again, don't have anything bad to say about the MoBo other than after my Z87 experiences with Asus, I am a bit shy about new releases of late..... Z97 is here and my Z87 M6F and Hero builds are not fully functional as yet.
