So I have recently built a computer yesterday and finally managed to get it running on windows 7. However, I cannot for the life of me download and install any of the drivers that I am supposed to. I always get a message from windows saying my driver is already updated when it isn't. i have a GA-78LMT-S2 motherboard and a powercolor 7850 hd radeon graphics card but I can't seem to actually update anything so far. I am using windows 7 ultimate 64 bit and everytime i attempt to install one of AMD's drivers, it tells me that the driver is not compatible and I have looked everywhere else on AMD for answers. My build also did not come with a CD drive so I have also attempted using a USB to get the files off the CD, but that did not work. Does anyone else here have a solution?

Download the drivers.
Open device manager.
Right click on the hardware you want to update.
Select update drivers.
Select chose from disk.
Select Browse.
Browse to the location of the downloaded drivers.
Select them..

BOOM BABY!!!!!!

Sometimes.. installing drivers sucks and you need to force install them. BUT! You really want to make sure that they are the correct drivers or you are screwed.

There really isn't anything out of the ordinary that should be preventing you from installing drivers. Is windows activated? Does your motherboard support Windows 7?

Why didn't your motherboard come with a disk? Was it refurbished? Was the GPU refurbished? Are you an admin on the computer?
