I just got a Newegg combo deal...
AMD FX-6350 Vishera 3.9GHz Six-Core CPU
MSI 970 MOBO, PowerColor Radeon HD 7850 2GB
HyperX Fury 8GB MEM
WD Blue 1TB HDD
RAIDMAX Cobra 600W PSU
NZXT 240 Case
... for my son. This is my second build and his first.
Other than the fact the the case has USB 3 in the front and the motherboard doesn't take them (curse you Newegg for not building one before selling them) the build seemed to go well until we tried to plug in the 24 pin power supply, it wouldn't clip but fit tightly together (flush) and stayed that way.
When we went to power it up for the first time - nothing.
I have tested the power supply (jumped 15&16) and it powered up but plugged into the motherboard we get nothing.
Any ideas what to do next?
