This. Upgraded to 1866mhz ram, a .4ghz increase in CPU speeds, upgrade to a trustable Caviar Blue, all while keeping (relatively) the same price.

Overall this will suit you well playing games at med-high settings for a while. Games that are less intensive and demanding you will be able to max out with a playable frame rate, but most likely not things like BF4 and definitely not Crysis 3 (unless you want less than 5 FPS). You could try pushing the graphics of BF4 and just playing around until you find something that is appealing and playable.
