What PSU does this card need?

Nvidia Geforce FX5500 5500 256MB 128-bit DDR PCI

Can't seem to find what PSU it needs I have a old 250 PSU..

Minimum of a 250 Watt power supply.

The FX5500 won't pull more than about 50w.

Also, I should mention I wont be using this for games will I be alright using this with a 250 Watt PSU?

Yes you should be fine it's a low power drawing card.

The 5600 is still listed on the nVidia site so always go to "the source" as one of my checks. The other refeernces I were collecting set 250 watts as the minimum but of course that will depend on what else you have in the system.

Look at the PNY link ....it says the card comes with an S Video cable ...

I'm not sure that specific card you have so not sure what the card needs to connect to the monitor.... given the time frame it could be the ole 15 Pin Standard VGA Connector, S-video connector and maybe a DVI-I connector .....

My monitor has VGA and the card in that amazon link has VGA that's what I will be using, I may also connect it to my HDTV later somehow.

Does my system have 128MB of system DRAM? About to buy this card and need to know for sure if I can run this I'm pretty sure from the info I received that I can I had to return a card already that was the wrong card given from a guy on amazon and just want for sure no problems with this one.
