Q1 would a gtx 760 bottleneck with an Intel core i5 2310 quad core 2.9ghz , 600w psu 4/8 gb ram?

Q2 would a Radeon R9 270 or R9 270x bottleneck with an Intel core i5 2310 quad core 2.9ghz , 600w psu 4/8 gb ram?

Solution
Either of them won't be botllenecked and you can go higher to something like GTX 770/ R9 280x without significant bottleneck.

GTX 760 or R9 270x will perform to their full potential without your CPU struggling to keep up with either of them

Solution
GTX760 , R9-270, and R9-270X are all comparably performing cards. They are priced in the $200 range.

The i5-2310 is an excellent but older gen cpu priced in the $165 range.

My rule of thumb for a balanced gamer is to budget about 2x the cost of the cpu for the graphics cards.
By that rule, the i5-2310 would be appropriate for an even stronger graphics card like a R9-280X or a GTX770.

I would not buy that cpu today, though.
The newer haswell chips and the Z97 and H97 chipset motherboards have more to offer.
