Should I upgrade CPU or keep current one?

Hello guys.
As my previous thread was for upgrading gpu in that I had decided to get nvidia gtx 760.
So now I am using i5 2310 processor
But I am thinking to upgrade to d fx 4300 or 6300.
I have only these two choices.
I cant, just cant buy or another intel..its too expensive and over budget.
Do you think my current i5 2310 is still better than my two upgrade choices I.e. amd fx 4300 or 6300?
main objective gaming.
Please suggest me.

(Yes I know mobo need change to if I will go to amd :p )

So you know buying an AMD CPU, you will have to buy a whole new motherboard sadly. Plus when switching a new motherboard, you will have to go through the hassle of getting your windows activated again.

I would suggest going for an AMD CPU, but you may also will have to buy an after market cooler, depending on what you have to do.

Keep the i5 and save for another months or so to buy another Intel.That i5 is still enough to play games today.

Yes an AMD FX6300 is the best in class CPU itself. But yes as Nordein said you have to buy a new motherboard too. And one more thing buy motherboard with at least 970 chipset. Ill suggest you MSI 970A g46 or asrock 990fx extreme 3 or extreme 4 and Gigabyte 990fxa ud3. And if you want a enthusiast level board then get ASUS ROG Crosshair V Formula,it is very very expensive but it is the best mobo one can get for the money paid for it.....

thanks all to answer,
i am using Regular Mobo i.e. p8h61-m lx3 r2.0 but i dont think its too bad, because when i had Amd phenom II 1055, i OCed it at 4ghz on Expensive Mobo, and i got Maximum 60fps in GTA 4(ultra settings) and now i5 2310 without Overclock i got 67+ Fps, i am not a overclocker anymore :p yes i know icant overclock on my current MOBO, but
if i sell my Current Mobo and i5 2310 and get Fx 6300 or 4300 with Regular mobo(not expensive) will it Beat my Current Rig?
for make easy Question,
current Cpu, i5 2310 with p8h61-m lx3 r2.0 Or Amd fx 4300 or 6300 with Regular MOBO?
which too choose,
i cant buy Expensive MOBO + it will not Huge Difference to b notice + money waste..
so brothers what you say.

Guys, one more Question eating my Mind, Please help,
is Watch Dogs take full advantage of Cores?
i just want to be future proof for Gta 5 and watch dogs.
so Amd Fx 6300 have 6 cores so, in games like Watchdogs, Amd fx 6300 will Out perform current i5 2310 ?
