My Cpu and GPU when under load both get up to a max of 74 C I know its a safe temp for Gpu but that cant be safe for Cpu right? I have an FX-6300 My room is very hot should i try to cool down my room?
Do I need a new Cpu cooler(I am using the stock cooler and paste)? Do I need to get another case fan(I only have 1)? It started out going maybe 61 c max both CPU and GPU but now its gotten really high i am using Speedfan to monitor temps.

Solution
Your gpu temp is a little high but OK and your cpu temp of 74c is actually the socket temp not the core temp. Don't worry too much about cpu core temp, that is because the amd fx series cannot really damage themselves with high heat because they will slow their clock speed at around 62c (the cpu is made to withstand about 97c and there is an auto shut off feature that goes off at 90c if everything goes wrong). So as long as your oc is stable on prime95 or other similar test bench you should be alright, just don't go too crazy on voltage.

Lastly, be carefull with the gpu, those are easier to damage.

your gpu temp is fine. My friend has a 6300 and it runs on 30 degrees on idle and 65 degrees under full load. But these fx series processors are known for heating up. Temp till 80 degrees ill be no issue.....And yes if you cool down your room temps ill decrease 4 to 5 degrees. turn on ac or something....

The stock AMD heatsink/fan is not the best. Aftermarket coolers are not necessarily expensive. I personally have the Hyper 212 Evo which I picked up for £25 on Amazon. If you are going to invest to reduce temperatures I would personally buy a CPU cooler.
