In the last few months the $1200 gaming PC that I assembled in 2011, has just stopped working I had tried many things to get it to work. My main problem is that when it was first having problems the mobo would release 3 loud beeps then I would have to shut it off (Base 64k ram failure.) Then as I tried to boot it very recently it didn't beep and everything comes up but it doesn't display video or give power to devices via USB. I was using a spare and much older PC for gaming but as I booted that back up in the same area it had the exact same problem I really would appreciate the help. Thanks!
2011 PC Specs.
MSI 970a-g46 mobo
Dual NVIDIA GT 430 2GB
AMD (ATHLON?) AM3+ CPU
Cooler Master 1000W PSU

#ehem# lol both pc have the same problem? Could it be that you have power issues on your wall socket? Also, do you use a UPS?

I tried a different power switch on the other side of the room and I had the same problem. I'm charging my phone on the power switch I use for the PC right now. Thanks though and I agree it's really strange

Well you will need to find something you did with both's pc's that are in common, then I believe you will have tracked down your fault. The only way I would recall something wrecking 2 pc's and causing the same problem was somebody monkeying around with homemade EMP's.
