Hi guys, I'm looking at building a new computer that can fill a sort of console-void in my living room. Essentially something that allows me to watch my completely legally obtained Game of Thrones, or kick back with an Xbox controller and play a bit of Batman. I already have a PC that I use for gaming, so I wouldn't be expecting this thing to roll out 60Hz on Crysis 3, just to give playable framerates on lower settings on those games that enable controllers to be used. Plus so I can move my TV and movie library off of my main computer, and be able to start watching them whilst on the couch. I'm a uni student also, so the least possible amount of money spent would be a great.

So really where the grunt will come from and where the money will be spent here will be on the CPU and GPU, so thats the question I want to ask here. At the moment I'm leaning towards a Pentium and R7 260, though it has just crossed my mind about crossfiring an AMD APU and low end GPU. Has anyone had any experience with this, or know how it ends up performance-wise? Or what would you guys go with for a build such as this? The Pentium and R7 is about as far as I am willing to go money-wise as well. I'm not in America, so I wouldn't be able to recoup any Newegg deals or anything like that.

Cheers guys, any help is greatly appreciated :)
