I have already ZION 2GB DDR3 1333MHZ RAM, and I want to upgrade more 2GB, total 4GB.

But I don't want to format my O.S . I have duel booting

1st. Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit
2nd. RHEL6 x86_64 bit.

If I don't do format then what will happen ??? Will I get 4GB performance without format ??
( but I don't want to format my O.S, because there have more configuration in RHEL6 )

Hi Sovik
you do not have to touch your hard drive, just install the new ram and you should be good to go ,
if you can try to get the same make and model of ram that you already have ,as putting in different modules with different voltages and timings
can be very problematic
