I have already ZION 2GB DDR3 1333MHZ RAM, and I want to upgrade more 2GB, total 4GB. :)

But I don't want to format my O.S :pfff: . I have duel booting

1st. Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit
2nd. RHEL6 x86_64 bit.

If I don't do format then what will happen ??? Will I get 4GB performance without format ?? :ouch:
( but I don't want to format my O.S, because there have more configuration in RHEL6 )

Solution
You dont need to format the hard drives. Everything will work fine. You will see a performance increase.

What i was saying, was that a 32 bit OS can only support a maximum of 4GB, usually 3.5 - 3.8GB usable, due to limitations of 32 bit.

You can still get 4GB of RAM, but you will not be able to use a small part of it. That will not matter, you will still see an improvement in performance.
