I'm having trouble finding a thread on overclocking with my specific mobo. How do I go about doing this? I'm a total newbie to overclocking and anything BIOS-related

Here is what some others have done:  fficial&client=firefox-a&channel=fflb" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">https://www.google.com/search?q=intel+dp67bg+overclock&...

Do you know which BIOS version you have? Evidently some versions were buggy.

Do you have the "Intel Extreme Tuning Utility"? If not, D/L it here and install it: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/motherboards/des...

The IXTU will NOT provide any automatic OC'ing but it does provide a very convenient way to adjust "Active Core Multipliers" and "Core Voltage" on the fly without rebooting into the BIOS each time that you make a minor change.

Check your mobo manual for instructions on how to enter the BIOS. Usually you do it by tapping a special key during POST, such as the Del. key or F2. The version should be easy to find once you're in there.
