I have a dell optiplex gx260.
CPU: P4
RAM: 1GB ddr + 256mb ddr

My graphic performance seems very low. It cant even play youtube videos without lags. SO i think buy a graphics card may solve the problem. So please suggest me the type of graphics card that will be supported by my motherboard,.I am also uploading a pic of vacant slots.

That looks like a AGP slot.

Your performance is low because of your weak cpu and lack of ram.

That is why I am looking to add a graphics card to better graphics performance. So which ones should go for. Does AGP have any other sub categories?

AGP slot is what was available before PCIE became the norm.

AGP cards are old tech, your best bet to find one for a decent price is ebay I guess.

I believe the best agp card ever made was the HD3850.

You also don't have enough ram, you should have at least 4gb.
