Hi, i have always wondered what i should get the pc or ps4. here are my pros and cons.
Pc Pros:
many games
best graphics
more functions
upgradeable
PC Cons:
am not used to the keyboard and mouse. not all games support xbox controller
Expensive
Viruses
PS4 Pros
Awesome Games
Very Cheap
Most of my friends own one-so play online
easy to use
PS4 Cons
Must pay for Online
Games are expensive where i live $60-70 per game
graphics inferior to pc

i have another option where i can get a cheap pc( a6-6600k and r7 240) and the ps4 but it will be a bit more expensive
and also i have a monitor, OS, ect

I can tell you from having a pc for many years and playing at higher resolutions and NVidia 3D the pc experience is far superior than console. With that being said the ps4 will be cheaper to game on due to pc you always want to upgrade graphics card every 2 years or so to keep up with playable fps. You don't have to upgrade to play but I like to stay on top and I'm a GPU whore...lol The console games get optimized by game developers and the pc port are sometimes are not touched due to console being the cash crop for game developers. If you have the money go the pc route especially with 4k gaming coming and if you want to save money and still play games go the ps4 route. I can tell you that none of my friends have a high powered pc like me and game on pc due to the cost...they are all on ps4 or xbox where the online experience is superior. I show them bf4 at 1600p on my pc and there jaw drops to the floor... the end....

Sounds like you should go for a PS4. The a6-6600k and R7 240 won't come close to a PS4 in graphics, so unless you can get at least a GTX 650 TI or R7 260X, the PS4 will look better.

Viruses and whatnot aren't a significant concern unless you pirate games/download exotic porn/etc, so I wouldn't call that a con though.

It's also worth noting that some of what Dropdead said isn't always true.
For one thing, you don't need to upgrade a PC every 2 years to keep games on or near ultra. I've been upgrading every 4 years on mid-range cards and it's been working out so far, though it requires waiting longer to change resolution and framerate. For example, the last switch earlier this year was from 30 fps-900p-8xAF-Post AA-GTX 460, to 30 fps-1080p-8xAF-2xMSAA+Post AA-GTX 660.

Still, given how tight your budget seems to be, and that you don't seem to know a lot about PC hardware yet, I'd say your best option would be a PS4.

No. The R9 270X is stronger than a PS4 GPU and will manage better graphics and framerates in most games, but that doesn't mean it'll hold a poorly optimized game like Watchdogs at 60 fps on ultra.

The PS4 version of Watchdogs runs at 1600x900 and 30 fps, at high settings.
In order to get Watchdogs running at 1920x1080 and 60 fps, at PC ultra settings, you'd need a GPU twice as powerful as a PS4.

The parts you've listed will make Watchdogs look better and run better than the PS4 version, but still not ultra at 60 fps.

I recommend a PC, just because there is a huge library of awesome games out there, and a lot of them are free. Controllers are easy to set up on a PC, a little harder some games but all are. PC's are more expensive, but the games are cheaper a lot of the time. And the online is free which is a huge plus if you're into multiplayer. But if you want to play with your friends and you don't want to pay a lot of money when you first buy it, get a PS4.
