With $200 to spend, what's the best that can be done? It needs to be able to run Skyrim on low. Bonus points for medium. I'll be reusing the hard drive and optical disc from this pc:http://h20566.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/kb/docDisplay?javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.prp_ba847bafb2a2d782fcbb0710b053ce01=wsrp-navigationalState%3DdocId%253Demr_na-c01063553-15%257CdocLocale%253D%257CcalledBy%253D&javax.portlet.tpst=ba847bafb2a2d782fcbb0710b053ce01&ac.admitted=1403368357935.876444892.199480143

If you think I can reuse that case or anything else please tell me. I already have a 720p monitor, OS, keyboard, and mouse. In case you're wondering why all I want is something that can play Skyrim at around 30 FPS on low, it's because I have a PS4. So, I'd like to avoid dropping serious cash on a pc. If you must go over, do, but try to keep it low as possible. And remember to try and reuse any parts for this build!

That should eat around 180W, with +50W safety margin you should duck well beyond your PSU maximum.

About GPU - doesn't really matter if it's discrete or integrated - what matters is how powerful the GPU is.
And yes - discrete graphic cards are way ahead of integrated.

But AMD pushes ahead with APUs - it's a processor with a powerful GPU on a single chip.
Strong point - you get a lot of horsepower for cheap - which is ideal for a media pc and light gaming machine (and also consoles, as both XBone...

Are you sure the 250w PSU will be good enough for this?

It will be pushing its luck a bit. From the top of my head that system should be maxed at about 200W. +50W safety it will be maxed at 250W - which is the exact the amount that your PSU can handle.
But if you want to be extra safe (and have a headroom for a dedicated GPU) you can go with Corsair CS450M for about $30 (usually costs double, but newegg has a $30 mail in rebate for that). But doing that will break your piggy bank by $10.

Just wait for other recommendations and decide on the best, when there will be at least 3-4 different builds :D

Thanks, someone on another sit recommended this: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2pDNgs. Will I need to upgrade my PSU for that? Also does anybody know if it's true that Skyrim won't run without a discrete GPU. I just want good FPS at low...

Vice - a CPU and GPU bought separately will be more powerful /at the cost of power usage/ and can be upgraded way more easily.

Also - when you decide to go for an AMD APU - you should look around for great deals - they often have bundles which can cut down the price for APU and MB even up to $50 - at least Micro Center has such offers... :D
