Hey guys,

Im new to this whole watercooling thing, but i thought it would be fun to watercool a ROG poseidon gtx780.

My cpu however is already cooled normally, and i dont want to change its cooler.

Is this possible at all ?, I tried googling but it just became more complicated :p

Thx

Ps. English is not my native language so srry for any misspells

Yes, it is 100% possible. Just buy a radiator (240MM at least) several fans, some tubing, pump, hose clamps, and GPU water block. Read this http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2162058/short-guide-elementary-custom-watercooling.html

Thx for the quick response.

Just to be sure you know, the ROG poseidon already has 2 'watercooling holes' (or something) installed.

Also, after reading this, i wont be needing a block ?

Ill need
-Radiator
-Reservoir and pump
-Tubing
-Fans

???

Yeah. What you will need are G1/4 barbs. You might want a fan speed controller so that the fans don't make that much noise when you don't need them to.

Pretty much, The poseidon comes with the waterblock built in, you only need to plug the tubes into it with the rest of the watercooling system. It will keep using the card's fan regadless, that is why it is "hybrid cooling"

4 Tubes right ? or am i not getting it

Thx again

No, one tube in, one tube out. The reservoir, pump and radiator will have to fit in there somewhere, the pump should be on the outflow of the reservoir. For your case, I would get an integrated pump/reservoir, the kind that fits in an HDD bay.

i as a new poseidon owner ( bought it used otherwise would have gotten a regular version) am also interested whether there's some cheap and simple watercooling unit i can attach to it since my cpu already has a cnps12x sitting on it,
maybe even a passive tower since this card is so silent even on air the pump would most likely make it louder...
