Hi I'm really close to finnishing my rig, I have all my PC parts with the exception of the OS and the motherboard, which are getting shipped as I write this... I have allready bought a Roccat Kone Pure Optical Gaming Mouse and a Logitech G35 headset, and I have pretty much decided on the monitor (Samsung S24D590PLX) 
So now the only thing I'm missing is a decent gaming keyboard... I've looked at the Apex and it seems like a really good keyboard from what I can tell, but it's not mechanical and I fear I might find it uncomfortable to use because of the size (too far from WASD to mouse)... Then I found the K65 which is cherry MX red, it's a compact design, but it does not have as many unique features as the Apex and it has no backlighting...
Which one of these would you recommend ? can the size of the apex a "problem" and how much better is a mechanical keyboard compared to the apex? they cost the same here so I just need to know which is the best ;D
