Best Wireless router with Comcast Extreme 105

Right now, my D-Link Dir-645 will only test at 45 mbps down...and that is when I am right next to it..... (I have adjusted every setting you can think of...only using N network..picked a channel that wasn't busy..etc).
Wired I am getting 100+...

I would like a wireless router that has great range and can handle the speed that I am paying for. Was looking at the NightHawk router, but something tells me that it might be overkill for what I have (Apple TV's.....iPad's..etc)..

Any suggestions??

That is about the expected rate. The wireless numbers are pretty much big lies. The router is only half the equation your nic also has a large impact.

This is a testing site that shows how bad wireless really is. This is the MAXIMUM rates your average rates are much less.

The only way you will break 100m is to go to 802.11ac both for the router and the nic cards. What is depressing is that 802.11ac claims rates of 1.3g and does not do much over 200m on average and that is with the best routers and nic cards on the market.
