This all started last week when I moved into my new house. I got my computer and internet working perfectly. Then the next day I turn my computer on and after windows loads it is just a black screen with nothing showing. I did not notice any updates the night before that windows installed or anything like that. It starts up in safe mode, so I uninstalled drivers to see if the issue was related. And without any GPU drivers it starts up just fine, but with ANY version of GPU drivers I get the Black Screen. I called up mircrosoft to see what they had to say, "reinstall OS". I did, 10 times. Just to make sure. Also bought a new OS windows 7, because I was using a windows 7 upgrade disc. That didnt solve anything. Same Black Screen. I called Nvidia and they said to update mobo drivers / bios, so I did with no results. At this point I have no idea what to do. I got it to work for a day by updating the TV software. But that only worked for a day?!?! This isn't making sense. Someone please help me out.

Hop into the bios if you can and check to see if in the options the Pci-e interface is selected as the primary display adapter interface to initialize first.

The board may of defaulted in some way back to factory setting so it needs to be setup as above in the bios.

Because you have on board video as well as soon as you get to the log in section/ select user or load desktop it is the case of the video signal being redirected to the on board video ports of the mobo.

I am presuming you have a graphics card fitted to the Pci-e slot of the mobo.

If so it`s the setting in the bios stated above.

The video output will be switched to on board.
Unless you set the Pci-e card as the primary display device in the bios.

While in safe mode you...

While in safe mode you should also check what the Hz range is set to and its resolution.
If the Hz range is too High the Lcd tv will just display a black screen because it is out of range.

The Hz should be 60Hz or 59hz in 1080p.
Interlaced should be 30hz or 29hz.

You should have I and P options of resolutions.

Looks like my HDMI ports on my TV don't work with any device I have tried so far. But I tried my computer on another Samsung TV and it worked flawlessly. So it is my TV. I called a few repair shops in my area and asked how much it would be for them to take a look at my TV. Lowest price I found was 50 bucks. I then found out the part I need (Main Board) is only 60 bucks and it easier to put in than a computer motherboard. Waiting on the part to be delivered. But if anyone is having HDMI port problems and can not get it fixed. I would recommend just buying the part and doing it yourself, rather than paying $200 for someone to come out and spend 20mins doing it.

Here is a video that will show you step by step how.
