Hello guys! I recently built a custom gaming pc. I have a laptop with windows 7 installed. Is there any way that i could copy that hard drive and transfer it into my new computer? If not, ill just have to buy win 7 again :(

Your best bet is to sell the laptop, and use those funds for a new OS for the new PC.

The license key for the laptop will not work on anything except that laptop.
Cloning from the laptop to a new desktop will not work.

Buy a new OS for the new PC.

That is not a valid purchase. No matter what they say.

What do you mean?

The link you posted is not a valid place to buy a Windows OS. It is akin to buying a 'brand new' iPad for $40 from some guy in a parking lot. What truck did he (or his source) steal them from?

what??? This link: https://www.g2a.com/windows-8-professional-32-64-bit-cd-key-global.html

Its to G2A.com

I didn't mean to post anything bad lol
Its supposed to be for G2A

Maybe you got a popup. I have Adblock plus

Where did you get the iPad thing from? I spoke to a rep and they said it is guaranteed to work or you get a refund.

I swear I didn't mean to post spam or anything. I thought that that site was just a good deal. As said, Idk where the ipad thing came up. When i click the link it takes me to 8.1 pro.

I said "an iPad for $40", because that is exactly the same level of 'not legit' as that site is.
Of course their rep will say it is valid. He might also have a bridge to sell you.

Please describe the legal business model that lets a company sell a $100 item for $25 and remain in business.

Idk man.
That is a good point. I just want you to know im not one of them and I don't like span and crap. I thought i was just helping out. sorry!
