Hi there Im looking to update my GPU and thinking of either of the below

£127 - Sapphire Dual-X Radeon R9 270X OC 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card with Boost
or
£120 - Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti Graphics Card (2GB, GDDR5, PCI-Express 3.0)

leaning towards the R9 270x but wasn't sure if my current setup & psu would be ok on power front?

Interl i5 2500k OC to 4000mhz
asus p8z68-v-le motherboard
4 fans
2 sticks of ddr3 ram (8gb each) 1600mhz
1 ssd & 1 hard drive
1 dvd rw
psu - Zalman ZM550-XG 550W ATX 12V V2.3 Gold 80+

thanks

Go with the 270X. Your PSU is adequate for the card and the CPU. I presume it has a pair of 6/8 pin PCIe power connections.

Yes I've got the pin connectors. So I assume that card is good for around that price bracket?

R9 270x :)  or get an MSI twin Frozr R9 270. Only a few FPS difference. And it runs cooler and quieter and has less power usage and is about $20 cheaper. Your power supply has no problem.
