I have a SSD which is where my OS is downloaded, but I want to use my HDD as a home for all my data because I don't have the space on the SSD to use it as a main drive. So because of this I want to use the HDD as a data storage device and use the SSD to boot up my system for the increased boot speed. Is this possible / if it is, are there any long term issues to the system?

Can this be done with Program Files and Program Files (x86)?

Win 8.1 btw

For applications, when you install them choose where that particular application should install to.

There are methods of completely redirecting Program Files and Program Files (x86), but I do not recommend them.
Just tell the particular application where to install itself.
